STATEMENT

In light of the state of climate change it is likely that the environment of today will cease to exist by the year 2080. I have envisioned a dystopian world in which the Earth landscape is nothing more than a barren wasteland. Human homes will need life support systems to simulate a human-friendly atmosphere and provide enough oxygen for life. This internet advertisement features a life support system product designed to bring the (former) natural world inside. Plant life has become no more than a trendy, marketable, bourgeois aesthetic.
